Merlin Entertainment latest attraction, Little Big City Beijing, has opened in China. Merlin tasked seeper with immersing guests in historical and cultural scenes of Beijing's past, using multi-sensory effects and audiovisual displays. seeper collaborated with expert model builders to produce intricate landscapes, from the Hutongs in 1200 A.D to sets of the famous CCTV entertainment show in the late 1980s. seeper's content designers worked with the beautiful cultural imagery of China, interweaving myths and legends into the miniature scenes of Beijing. They used complex projection mapping and subtly integrated digital displays to tell these stories, offering opportunities for guests to interact and play using touch and joystick controls This builds on projection mapping work they undertook for the Little Big City Beijing's sister attraction in Berlin. seeper were involved in the very early design stages, facilitating efficient and integration of all physical and digital elements and which resulted in a seamless and exciting visitor journey.
